James Neff is the managing editor of OJP and has served for more than two decades as Investigations Editor for both The Philadelphia Inquirer and The Seattle Times. He currently serves on the board of Reporters’ Committee for Freedom of the Press, written five non-fiction books, and directed and edited seven Pulitzer Prize finalists and three Pulitzer winners. Neff has worked in journalism since graduating from the University of Notre Dame and earned his master’s from the University of Texas at Austin.
